After attending University of Michigan, I attended Midwestern University-CCOM on a health professions scholarship through the US Navy. After completing my internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, I attended flight surgery training in Pensacola, FL. I served as a Naval Flight Surgeon in Puerto Rico and San Diego prior to returning to the Naval Medical Center San Diego to complete my residency in Dermatology. I stayed at NMCSD as teaching staff prior to deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning from deployment, I completed a fellowship in Procedural Dermatology at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA. Following my assignment as Head of Procedural Dermatology at NMCSD, I separated from the Navy with rank of Commander. I am board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, an ACMS-trained Mohs surgeon, a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, and a diplomat of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and graduated from the University of Southern California. I then went to Yale University School of Medicine, and I also completed a surgical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Later, I performed research in cancer vaccine design in the Department of Dermatology at Yale. I did my residency in Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh. Besides seeing patients at the University of Pittsburgh after residency, I also obtained sub-specialty training in Dermatopathology. I am board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. I love my profession and thoroughly enjoy helping patients. My wife and I moved to Grand Rapids, since it is a great city in which to grow roots. We love outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
I grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University. In Philadelphia, I attended the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and underwent Dermatology training at Thomas Jefferson University, where I served as Chief Resident. I completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I joined this practice in 2008, and I feel blessed to be here. I am board certified with the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow with the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow with the American College of Mohs Surgery. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, traveling, and chasing after my 5 children. Occasionally I’ll strike a yoga pose as well.
Dr. Green graduated from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine with High Distinction, and completed her Dermatology Residency at Wayne State University. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Green has been practicing in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 2008.
Dr. Vasicek was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the Honors College at Michigan State University. She then returned to Grand Rapids to attend medical school at Michigan State University – College of Human Medicine, and subsequently completed her dermatology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Outside of work, she enjoys running, being with family and friends, and spending time with her husband in which they especially like skiing and snowboarding, watching Jeopardy, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
